If Tina Halpain (the founding member seen above) would wish to be believed as a reliable reference for an upcoming academic institute, she might want to run her statements through a grammar and spell checker before hitting the send button. ?

I have analyzed it before but did not find that it met the criteria for inclusion on my list.

It claims to be based in Texas, but really isn’t.
Then, despite being “based” in Texas, it has few from the US on its editorial boards.
It claims to be non-profit but offers no proof.

Looks like they have 19 journals now! I know a renowned professor who is on the editorial team and it really hurts me to see that.Thank you for creating this wonderful and eyeopening website.

hallo sir, how far have you gone with the analysis of International Academy for Science & Technology Education and Research (IASTER) publisher which has 18 journals journals in its list.

the main question now is how to know if this journal is fake or authentic Journal , and what is the mechanism we need to approach to figure out and differentiate between Hijacked and Real journals ?

It’s obvious from our spamcatcher records that they’ve harvested university email addresses, from scientists to staff. Though I’m flattered by them addressing me as ‘Dr’ (hah!), this doesn’t seem to be the way an honest startup would operate.

This publisher is now included on my list.

It is extremely frightening to see where we are going.

A “Scientific American” is an American with a scientific bent, exactly the magazine’s readership.

An integrated journal of British is just mumbo-jumbo.

As usual, huge editorial board.

what the flag of Canada has anything to do with the journal?

I have given my two research papers in this journal. It is a bit saddening to see it’s name here. May I know why is it here?

Why did you submit two papers to a journal whose website says, “Please wait for review report which will take maximum 05 to 10 days”?

I haven’t analyzed this journal. There are several new ones like this appearing each week. This one displays two bogus impact factors on its main page. I would suggest finding a better one than this.

Got the spam yesterday, addressed personally to me, from “Anne Brown”. The email actually looked *almost* legitimate, but there were a couple of clues that it was bogus. Thanks for the heads-up on this guy.

Please do some favour by clear the present situation regarding present impact factor of Scientific World Journal. The name of the is there in Journal Citation Reports 2013, which will be valid un-till next Journal Citation Reports, likely to be published in july 2015. Does this mean it has still impact factor but will lose in next Journal Citation Reports?
