For no good reason I decided to sample the quality of this fine journal. The first article I looked at, the final article in the current issue, was “SHELL SHOCK: A DEADLY VULNERABLE THREAT TO THE INTERNET”. In it, we find phrases such as “From the moment CloudFlare turned on *our* Shellshock protection” (emphasis added), quickly revealing that most of the paper has been delicately lifted, almost completely intact (even the figures!), from a Cloudflare blog posting. The author’s biography does not reveal any affiliation with Cloudflare or the author of the blog post.
Searching for references, I did not find any footnotes at all in the paper, but it does include the following exemplary references section:
[1] Google.com
[2] Wikipedia.com
[3] The Economics Times, pg no.7,1nd October 2014.
[4] Yahoo.com
[5] Symantec.com
[6] Youtube.com
A true model of generality, suitable for any paper whatsoever!
