I’ve been sent the Same list of people and attached the email below, I’m glad this site was so easy to find saved me a lot of time taking a call from them as I genuinely thought this was free,

Dear Dr XXX,

I was hoping to talk with you at some point in the near future regarding your research in relation to a forthcoming Environment edition of the International Innovation publication due for release in March 2015.

International Innovation is a specialist research dissemination publication, fundamentally different to typical scientific or peer-reviewed journal. The aim of the publication is to transform and translate in-depth, technical, scientific research into an easily understandable language, assisting researchers to generate greater impact, facilitating wider societal value to on-going projects and their eventual outcomes while creating a platform for multidisciplinary and collaborative research opportunities. Our focus is on effectively bridging the gap between science, education, policy and research.

If you do not currently read the publication (it’s available in print, online and through our iOS and Android apps) I can send you a copy if you like, or you can see a recent edition focusing on remote sensing for climate monitoring online:

Sensing Change – http://digimag.internationalinnovation.com//launch.aspx?eid=40527246-41f5-4531-b870-f555bd29dd63

The publications are promoted globally both physically and electronically to 120,000 registered academics, researchers and individuals working within funding agencies, research councils, NGO’s and policy bodies.

We have had a number of leading figures interviewed in the publications previously such as:

• Rajendra K. Pachauri, Chairman, Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)

• Jacqueline McGlade, Executive Director, European Environment Agency

• Kathrine Angell Hansen, JPI-OCEANS secretariat

• Mike McPhaden, President, American Geophysical Union

I am keen to showcase a small number of researchers within this report so I would like to discuss the possibility of disseminating some of the initial findings, conclusions or methodologies used within your work in this edition of the publication. I would be keen to run through this information with you soon, discuss our audience, article processing charges, while understanding more about the specific objectives and deliverables as there are specific aspects I think might be very relevant to this edition of the publication.

I am based in the UK. It would be great if you could find some time for us to discuss this informally in the coming days. Would you be so kind as to suggest a convenient time for us to discuss this?

Regards

If you still had any doubts about their predatory nature: when you click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of their emails, instead of asking you for mere confirmation as all honest companies do, they force you to register with your full name and address… this is typical scam practice to collect private data.

Dear Mr. Beall,

I have pinpointed that the number 8 of List 1: Questionable Publishers, i.e. Academic Journals, contains a journal which appears in Web of Science.
Scientific Research and Essays. ISSN, 1993 8233.
This implies that at least this journal is not a questionable one.
Perhaps, this publisher should not be included in this list.
Thank you very much.

Perhaps you’ve got it backwards and should contact Web of Science and ask them why they have this journal included in their database.
