A lot of thanks to Mr. Beall for this post. I totally agree that GAN conferences are made just for MONEY purpose. I and my friends have experienced attending their conferences. They were very badly-organized, and not academic at all. PLEASE AVOID GLOBAL ACADEMIC NETWORK CONFERENCES

Dear Dr. Beall:

I have not been able to find your reply to my inquiry regarding two journals, Social Pharmacy and the Journal of Hospital Administration. Are they legit or predatory? Thanks for your input.

Could you supply the links so I can be sure I know exactly what journals you are referring to? Many publishers copy journal titles.

This publisher is borderline. To err on the side of caution, I endeavor not to add the borderline ones to my list. The reasons you give are interesting, but not all of them are included in my criteria.

Look, I agree this is a low-quality, idiosyncratic operation, and it will probably disappear when Wali I. Mondal does. It’s sort of like a cult. However, I cannot make a strong and convincing case for adding it to my list at this time. Thanks for your help.

I am sorry, this is not a service I offer. I recommend that you speak with the librarians at your university or with senior colleagues in your field.

Amoeba was included only in Zoological Records, but has since been removed from the Thomson Reuters list due to the cessation of the title. It is no longer on the Thomson Reuters Master Journal List.

The publisher of the first one, SCIEDU, is included on my list here. I recommend against submitting your work to all of the journals it publishes. I analyzed the second journal previously and did not find that it met the criteria for inclusion on my list.

Thank you for the warning :)
I just got another same email and won’t reply them at all.

Dr. Lin,

I am looking for a couple more reviewers for the next issue of the Medical Research Archives and I was hoping you would be be willing to review a paper for us next month. Most of the submissions are review articles, and we would assign to you only one manuscript within your areas of expertise. If you could find some time to fit this in to your busy schedule it would be very helpful to us. Thank you for taking the time to consider this Dr. Lin and please do reply to let me know whether or not you may be able to assist with this or if you have any questions.

Thank you,
