The hard work done by you all the time should be appreciated more, I think your efforts so far should be build upon to form something like international Journal ranking, or journals watchdog or any similar non-profitable organization.

Dear Sir,

I would like to ask why American Scientific Publishers was included in the list even though you have stated in your replies to LAOcampo, and Lin Hansheng that it is not an Open-Access Publisher.

I am asking this since the post of Rosihan Ari was ignored while posts at later dates were answered promptly.

I hope you’ll have the time to answer my query.

Thank you.

Open Behavioral Genetics, Open Quantitative Sociology & Political Science and Open Differential Psychology are the three journals of open access publisher OpenPsych (http://openpsych.net/ ).

Emil Kirkegaard of the University of Aarhus in Denmark is listed as the single editor (in chief) for Open Differential Psychology ( http://openpsych.net/ODP/editorial-board/ ) and for Open Quantitative Sociology & Political Science ( http://openpsych.net/OQSPS/editorial-board/ ).
Open Behavioral Genetics ( http://openpsych.net/OBG/editorial-board/ ) also lists only one editor (in chief), Davide Piffer, (‘independent researcher, Italy’), with a link to his Twitter account ( https://twitter.com/piffer_davide ). This twitter account reveals ‘founder and editor-in-chief (OpenPsych)’. Emil Kirkegaard has published several papers in these three journals (in particular in the journals of which he is listed as editor).

You make a very strong argument why MDPI should be included on the list of predatory publishers. Why were they removed from your list? This seems very odd…

Yes, just got spammed to be Editorial Board or Reviewer (apparently they’re not fussy) for Scientific Pages of Nursing. Not being a nurse, I rarely take any of these seriously but I do publish with some. So, I have to say thanks for this list and the incredible amount of work that goes into maintaining it. Journal spam has skyrocketed, thank you Jeffrey Beall for taking it on. This site is now an essential part of my email blocking.

The publisher is on my list because I want to warn researchers to avoid it. One or two of its journals are either OA or have OA options. This is a horribly greedy publisher, in my opinion.

Please have a look at the lists. The World Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences (WJPS) is included on my list here, so you should avoid it, in my opinion. The second journal you mention is published by Hindawi, a publisher that is not on my list at this time.
