Dear Dr. Beall, What do you think about this journal? International Journal of Research & Methodology in Social Science (IJRMSS) http://www.socialsciencepublication.com/index.htm
This journal is not included in your list!
Correct, this journal is not on my list at this time.
I have this journal's publisher, MECS Press, included on my list here. I recommend against submitting your work to this publisher's journal, including the one you mentioned.
Is it a legitimate journal or a predatory one?
My understanding is that the "specialty chief editors" receive income from from Frontiers, and these are the ones who always write about how great they are and who attack me personally. They want to preserve the income they are receiving for being so great. Frontiers uses multilevel marketing, like Amway.
As for the title of the journal, I would propose Computers, Art, Science & Humanities. That title will keep the same scope you originally proposed, but with an abbreviation that will better reflect the mission of your journal.
Dear Dr. Beall
I need the help of information associated with the journal predators. six months ago I entered in the journal article that turned IJLL included in the list of predators (I do not know in advance). but I've been sent a payment. and in my country many who experience it to lose hundreds of millions. is there a way to follow the intellectual criminal acts, because to this day the website is still operating. or we can just take it for granted as a dupe.
help us please.
This is a completely fake publisher called American Research Institute for Policy Development. It specializes in victimizing honest researchers. It pretends to be based in the United States, but it's really based in Bangladesh. This publisher has hurt many people. They never give refunds, and they don't reply to emails.
I find this a very weak effort, a journal everyone should avoid. It is on my list.
Dear Dr. Beall, What do you think about this journal? Journal of Applied Pharmaceutical Science?
Biomedical Research-India (ISSN: 0970-938X) is published by Allied Academis that is in your list (predatory publisher list). However the journal acceptance rate is about 15%. Review process is about 2-3 months. Also a lot of quality papers are in journal volumes. Does it mean that the journal is also predatory because of publisher is in your list? I think to evaluate the publisher and the journal separately would be right. Isn't it?
It's on my list here, so I recommend avoiding it.
I have received the same invitation by Kateryna Bielka today - seems like they even work on holy Sundays :-)
This journal is complete rubbish, as are the other journals from this publisher, which was taken over by OMICS International. I don't believe that "15%" figure for a second, and neither should you. Yes, the listing of the publisher is for all of its journals. Corrupt and bogus publishers don't have any "good" journals.
I thought Aging was a decent journal. No more. No more submissions to Impact journals and Oncotarget either. I would like to express my admiration for the author of this article. I would also like to assure her/him that he/she is not alone with this attitude. In this post truth age we must remember and uphold the basic human virtues. And we must expose and fight those that disregard them.
I do agree they are getting more specific. i almost got duped since they targeted me for my specialty, it was only that i remembered the look of the site from previous invites to some journals that have no relation to my research. I is said that some people fall for it and it gives them credibility..
Just received similar email as well. It sounded sincere, so I tried to look up the impact factor of the journal. That brought me here...
Dear Dr. xxxx,
I hope this email finds you well. My colleague asked if I could get in touch with you about a paper you authored entitled "xxx". Firstly, thank you for taking the time to publish this, it was an interesting read. I am hoping to discuss with you having a short follow-up article or perhaps a review article published in one of the next issues of the Internal Medicine Review. I think our readers would be interested in a paper with information from any continued research or new data since this was published. It would not have to be a long article, but if you don't have time for this perhaps you could ask one of your co-authors or students to collaborate or contribute instead.
If you have moved on from your previous research interests I am certainly interested in knowing more about your current projects; perhaps there is the potential for an article that would be published in our journal. If you have any questions about whether or not a certain subject fits our scope I can put you in contact with Dr. Chadwick Prodromos from our editorial board.
Could you please let me know your thoughts on this?
Dr. Lisseth Tovar, M. D.

Now reinvented, I suspect, as Edit Scholars, also in Lagos. Similar fonts on the website, and the promise of "Editing + Proodfreading" services to make your academic article suitable for submission. They sent their ad to me at my university email address.
Same letter as Sanne's, but mine was from dear Kateryna. Have had similar letters in the past, but your website cured me from any inclinations to respond...
