Comment on New Apparent Case of Serial Plagiarism Uncovered by Seyyed Ahmad Jamali

Dr. Seyyed Akbar Mirhasani (Tarbiat Modares University, Iran), Dr Parviz Birjandi (Islamic Azad University, Iran), and Dr Zohreh Eslami Rasekh (Texas A&M University, USA) are more or less of the same habit. Almost all academic members of the Islamic Azad University (Iran) find this strategy quite valuable. Moreover, an indexing service called ISC has been launched by Dr Jafar Mehrad which claims to be the Islamic version of the ISI list and indexes almost any predatory journal that pays the guy a high amount of money. A professor who has written on this issue to warn the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology in Iran, has been persecuted, his associationship has been suspended, and he has been told that he has to quit his job.
