I am happy to see that Hindawi retracted the article. They made a mistake in accepting the article, but they fixed the mistake. Let’s move forward.

I have pubished times ago an article with david publishing, and I asked them to withdraw, but I just want to ask you why now that David is not open access it is still in your list?

This publisher occasionally switches it publishing model. Regardless of its model, I would like to warn scholars to avoid submitting papers to this very low quality publisher, so I am going to keep it on my list. [See <a href="http://scholarlyoa.com/2012/02/29/david-publishing-flipping-its-model/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">this blog post </a>from February, 2012 about the publisher flipping its model at that time.]

Hindawi is not on my list. I cannot find the <em>Panafrican Journal of Medical Research</em> -- please send the link. The <em>African Journal of Food, Agriculture, Nutrition and Development</em> (AJFAND) is not a predatory journal, and it is not on my list.

what about few other publishers; they do almost same strategies: sciepub/ global journal / dove press … and few others. if anyone have ideas about them. please kindly post here.

Zero. This journal does not have a legitimate impact factor. The one it has on its website is bogus.

This journal is a complete mess. It does not claim to be open-access. It’s so bad, I don’t even want to include it on my list.

The judgement of ‘junk science’ should be at the discretion of the reader to evaluate the methods and the evidence presented in front of them. I think it is a terrible idea that ‘’acceptable ideas’’ should be curated (or more specifically filtered) by other entities. I don’t think anyone should have the onerous responsibility of directing scientific discourse.
