I would like to apologize for my phrase ‘waste my time on publishing all the correspondence, … in the relevant forums everywhere on the Internet’ to each participant in this forum and elsewhere, and especially to the author, Jeffrey Beall whose job and research was helpful personally to me. I would emphasize that I do not think like that, it was just my tactic. By this, I confirm that I understand the high importance of every systematical effort pursuing the enlightenment of the general public as well as scientific circles about open-access predatory publishing, a serious threat to to the normal functioning of science proper.

I went through the author process with SOP, and I found them to be very friendly, happy to make corrections when they occur, and found the reviewers I had to be very helpful in improving my manuscript. My work was recently published in “SOP Transactions on Applied Mathematics”.

From the experience of an author, though paying a fee (in exchange for open access), they are very new, but welcome to input. I didn’t find really anything predatory about them during the process, but I know I did receive the e-mails you were discussing at first (I found them later on when trying to find an appropriate journal, and thought my work would go great in a new journal).

This journal is included on my list here, so I recommend that you not publish any articles in the journal.

Comment on WSEAS and NAUN: Two Publishers (and Conference Organizers) to Avoid by Jeffrey Beall

I have had a look at this website, and because they don’t publish any journals, they are not eligible for my list. It appears that they just organize (low quality) conferences and they tell attendees to submit their presentations to good journals. I agree with your observation and would advise all researchers to avoid these conferences.

I have this journal's publisher, World Science Research Journals (WSR Journals), included on my list here. I recommend that you NOT pay the money to this publisher. Find a better publisher.

Ponownie odsyłam do Bealla (zob. listę ukradzionych czasopism). […]

None of the Oxford University Press journals are included on my list. So, yes, if you are referring to a journal published by OUP, I do believe it is worth submitting to. Good luck.

They are abusing my name too. I was solicited with an editorship by the International Journal of Accounting and Taxation. I have not been involved in any operations of that journal since I accepted the offer. After being the editor for two months, I emailed the journal to resign. It still lists my name as the editor, after I have made multiple request of the removal. They intentionally did that. Be aware that this journal accepts money, but does not publish.

Is ‘Religions’ considered a legitimate journal in Religious Studies? Would publication in this journal count towards tenure review?
